New Additions

Hey guys I went into Marshalls this past weekend to waste some time and I happened to find some really sweet deals that I thought I would share with you all. I find Marshalls tends to have a great selection of basic shoes so I definitely took advantage of that. That being said these pairs of shoes  have very little to no height to them and are pretty casual, either in design or the shoe style itself. And yes I do consider those "in your face" gold oxfords to be quite casual since the shoe style itself is nothing more than a basic flat.

Office Job

 Top - Foreign Exchange
Jeans - ASOS
Heels - Nine West (Marshalls)
Purse - Target

Hey guys today i had a little bit of free time which is a very rare thing during the school week and since I have neglected my blog these past few weeks I thought I'd take advantage of this time and post another outfit of the day. Now I took these pictures in a bit of a hurry since the sun was starting to set but I think they're decent enough so here you have them.

I do have an engineering internship which I go to everyday and this is what I wore to that. I have to dress semi professional and look quite "put together" yet I don't like the idea sacrificing my "style" to do so, so this tends to be the kind of thing I wear.
By combining more fashionable pieces such as the wet look jeans with a more put together top such as this peplum one, I get that effortless yet put together look I like going for.

Go To Outfit

Blazer - Jcpenny
Top - Topshop
Necklace - Gift
Bottoms - Forever 21
Shoes - Nordstrom Rack

The second outfit since I started blogging so I'm still getting used to things. Nonetheless I did try really hard to get decent pictures so fingers crossed that shines through...

When styling an outfit I usually tend to pick a piece that I want to base my look around, in this case that piece was the plaid bottoms. I got them at forever 21 a few months back and instantly fell in love yet for a while I struggled on how exactly it was I wanted to style them considering I wanted to avoid the "rocker" vibe I tend to get from plaid. That being said I thought simple and put together was the best way to go.

Paired with a classic black blazer and basic white top, as well as a gold chain necklace and simple black heels, the plaid bottoms are toned down while still having the "loudness"of the statement bottoms shine through.
