About Me

Hey there! My name is Noemy Serrano, I am 18 years old and I was born and raised in Southern California. I will be attending the University of Wisconsin on a full tuition scholarship this fall, and I could not be more excited!

While I love California and really treasure having the beach so close by, deep down I'm a country girl. My favorite place on this planet is this super tiny middle of nowhere town in Mexico where my family is from. My heart yearns to be there every second of the day and since that unfortunately is not very realistic, I settle for an occasional escape once or twice a year. 

As for hobbies, if I don't have my face jammed in a computer screen... online shopping, there's a 99.9% chance I have it jammed in some sort of book. Preferably romance. Though, I have recently been getting really into Chicano studies! My all time favorite book hands down is Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles. It is your typical bad boy, rich girl fall in love type story written in the most perfect way possible. If you haven't checked it out, first of all go to the doctor... something might just be wrong with you, but then head straight for a bookstore, I'm almost sure you'll love it!
